- Approval of Permit No. 19532, under California Code of Regulations, Title 23, Article 3, Section 6, for work within an adopted plan of flood control: To widen the existing Linda Creek Bridge (Bridge No. 19-0027) over Cirby Creek by adding a westbound lane to Interstate 80; to remove and replace an existing 24-inch diameter reinforced concrete pipe (RCP) with a new 24-inch diameter RCP pipe on the left (west) bank of the creek; to install a new 24-inch diameter RCP pipe on the right (east) bank of the creek; to construct a 15-foot concrete channel extension with cutoff wall across the main channel of Cirby Creek and under the widened portion of the bridge; to place concrete pavers on both banks of Cirby Creek; to install Rock Slope Protection (RSP) at the outfall of the drainage RCP pipes; and to install temporary falsework within the creek channel. The permit also authorizes the existing concrete lined channel and bridge that was originally constructed in 1955 and replaced in 1973.
