As part of the BCDC Permit for the Foster City Levee Planning and Improvements Project (CIP 301-657) regulatory permitting agencies (U.S. Army Corps of Engineers, San Francisco Bay Regional Water Quality Control Board (RWQCB), BCDC, and National Oceanic and Atmospheric Administration (NOAA) Fisheries) implemented a mitigation measure to provide unimpeded tidal flow in the O’Neill Slough.
