Document Description
The project includes two phases with the 1st phase consisting of removing & replacing the existing boardwalk decking; replacing the existing wood fascia on the floodwall; repairing the existing barge, dock, stairs, & elevator; replacing lighting with new lighting system; removing the one-story addition to the south side of the Streamers Building; adding stairs to the elevated cantilevered sections of the Embarcadero; ADA improvements to the Embarcadero; replacing railroad ties & new concrete panels installed between the ties & tracks returned to original position; replacing existing railings; & installing wood overlays on the cantilevered sections that are not on a concrete deck. The 2nd phase includes removing a pier section at the north end of the project site; installing a new maintenance platform at the CA Pacific Streamers Building; & upgrading the bike path.
