Document Description
The project is the adoption of the CA Spiny Lobster Fishery Management Plan (FMP) and regulatory amendments for the CA spiny Lobster (Panulirus interruptus). The project would serve as the framework for managing the recreational (sport) and commercial fisheries for the CA spiny lobster. The commercial fishery subject to the FMP is located in coastal and offshore waters in CA and extends from Point Conception in Santa Barbara County, south tot he U.S> - Mexico border. The recreational fishery subject to the FMP is also lcoated within the coastal waters of CA, ranging from central San Luis Obispo County, south of the U.S. Mexico border.
