Document Description
The proposed project involves the development of 54.9 acres of cultivated row crops into a residential development. The proposed project includes the subdivision of the subject property into 214 residential lots with associated infrastructure and landscpaing, and the subsequent construction of single famit residences on the lots. Residential lots will comprise 48.8 acres of the 54.9-acre site; the remaining acreage will be devoted to a detention and water quality water basin near the southwestern corner, a park at the northwestern corner, a right-of-way dedication along the notheastern boundary adjacent to Fairview Road, and a linear park in the northwestern portion of the development. The project will result in impacts to 54.9 acres of California Tiger salamander habitat; the Project will permanently remove 54.9 acres of California tiger salamander habitat. The project is expected to result in incidental take of California tiger salamander, which is designated as a threatened species under the California Endangered Species Act. The ITP referenced above as issued by CDFW authorizes incidental tale pf species listed under CESA that may occur as a result of project implementation.
