Document Description
The project involves the acquisition of approximately 34 acres at the southwest corner of E. Church and S. Peach Avenues and the construction and operation of high school facilities on the site. The first facilities constructed would likely be a choice high school providing career technical education (800-1,000 students). The facilities could ultimately be expanded to include the functions of both a choice high school and a comprehensive high school (2,500 students). The project also involves the construction and operation of an elementary school (750 students) on a portion of 18 acres owned by the District along the south side of E. Church Avenue west of the proposed 34 acres to be acquired. A portion of the 18 acres would also be used for high school facilities.
