The Golden Hills Community Services District (District) approved the rehabilitation of the existing public sewer collection system and wastewater treatment plant (WWTP) in 2016. In order to reduce costs, the District seeks to install a passive solar electricity generation system on ~0.4 acres of land adjacent to the WWTP site. Since this facility was not evaluated in the original certified EIR, an Addendum has been prepared to assess the potential for additional adverse impacts from this addition to the Rehabilitation project. No additional significant adverse impacts were identified and the District concluded that an Addendum in the appropriate level CEQA evaluation for this minor project addition.
