Document Description
The project includes two primary components: (1) a Static Var Compensator (SVC) facility, and (2) an approx. one-mile-long 230 kilovolt transmission line connecting from the SVC to the existing Suncrest Substation. The SVC facility would produce and consume reactive power and would be approx. 6 acres in total size. The transmission line would be installed primarily underground beneath Bell Bluff Truck Trial road, with the last approx. 300 feet of the line transitioning aboveground via an 85 to 95 foot pole to connect with the existing substation.
