Document Description
In response to the State Water Resources Control Board's mandate for a 28 percent reduction in per capita use of potable water, Eastern Municipal Water District (District) is pursuing additional recycled water use that offsets existing potable water demand. The Recycled Water Accelerated Retrofit Program (Program) is designed to advance recycled water retrofit projects to achieve approximately 410 acre-feet per year (AF) of potable water offset beginning in February 2016. The Program is a short-term effort and incorportes streamlined business processes, technical support, and finance incentives to expedite the permitting, design, and construction of retrofit projects.
