Eastern Municipal Water District (District) is part of the Santa Ana Watershed Project Authority (SAWPA) Project Agreement 22 Committee, which was formed to implement the measures of the Interregional Landscape Water Demand Reduction Program (Demand Reduction Program). The Demand Reduction Program is funded through local funding match and grand funding provided by the Safe Drinking Water, Water Quality and Supply, Flood Control and Coastal Protection Bond Act of 2006 (Proposition 84).
