Reasons for Exemption
The vineyard was developed prior to petition submittal. The original IS/MND was completed in 2000 evaluating a project that included a reservoir and direct diversion to use up to 166 ac-ft annually (for 60 acres irrigation). A 2011 inspection documented the underflow diversion to irrigate 19.5 acres with 20 ac-ft of water. The reservoir was not built. The final POU included 4 acres outside the original permitted footprint.
