Document Description
Up to 5,000 acre-feet of ACWD's and Zone 7's previously banked water in Kern County will be pumped into the California Aqueduct for use within the SWP place of use downstream of the pump-in location. CCWD will then divert an equal amount of SWP water supplies at its intakes for use within CCWD's service area. In exchange, Reclamation will make an equal amount of CCWD's CVP water supplies available at Banks Pumping Plant for subsequent delivery by DWR to ACWD's and Zone 7's turnouts located in the South Bay Aqueduct.
