Document Description
This project involves protecting the southern bridge abutment and adjacent stream bank from continued scour by installing a rock riprap buttress along 30 linear feet of stream bank. The abutment and bank protection will occur in two sections along this reach. Underneath the bridge and continuing 10 feet upstream of the bridge, 23 continuous linear feet will be treated. Downstream of the bridge, 7 linear feet will be treated. Work at both sites will require a total of approximately 30 cubic yards of 12 to 18-inch light class facing riprap will be used to build 1:1 sloped rock buttress. Issuance of a Streambed Alteration Agreement Number 1600-2015-0289-R3 is pursuant to Fish and Game Code Section 1602.
