Document Description
The California Department of Fish and wildlife has executed Lake and Streambed Alteration Agreement number 1600-2015-0093-R2, pursuant to Section 1602 of the Fish and Game Code to California Water Service. The project is limited to installation of a temporary emergency water intake floating pipeline (Plan A) for pumping extraction from Clear Lake in response to decreased lake water levels caused by current drought conditions. Following long-term implementation and in the event that Plan A encounters logistical and operational challenges (e.g., persistent problems with the pontoon skid operations, or with the flexible hose set up, etc.), am alternative plan (Plan B) will be implemented.
