Reasons for Exemption
This interim grade crossing improvement eliminates the eastbound vehicular movement from the existing grade crossing, until such time as a grade separation is constructed. Pursuant to the California Public Utilities Commission (CPUC) Decision 12-12-021, the Doran Street grade crossing was deemed as a threat to public safety, necessitating the elimination of the eastbound vehicular movement.
