Document Description
The project would include completion of the CEQA/NEPA analysis and appliciaton and acquisition of the necessary permits for in-channel work from the Army Corps of Engineers and Lahontan Water Quality Control Board. The subject of the planning and evaluation would be a project (not approved by this action) that woudl involve: (1) removal of invasive weeds such as Russian thistle in the stream channel, (2) riparian vegetation plantings, (3) strea, channel restoration to allow the channels to reach more of the floodplain, and (4) placement of woody debris in the channel.
