Document Description
The Earl Schmidt Intake Pump Station (ESIPS) pumps and delivers raw water from Castaic Lake to the Earl Schmidt Filtration Plant when lake levels are low. The current ESIPS pumping capacity is about 28 MGD with two 14 MGD pumps. A third 14 MGD pump will be added. Current capacity at the plant is 56 MGD.
