Document Description
The project also proposes to establish a new population of Tiburon jewelflower at the Ring Mountain Open Space Preserve. Approximately 1,000 Tiburon jewelflower seeds will be collected in the fall of 2015. Seeds have also been donated to the project by Rancho Santa Ana Botanic Garden and the U.C. Botanical Garden at Berkeley. Seeds will be germinated in the greenhouse and grown for six to eight weeks before the plants are planted in experimental plots at the Ring Mountain Open Space Preserve.
