The proposed Action would rehabilitate the exterior of an existing vacant Machine Shop building and construct approx. 8,000 sq. ft. of new modular space and supporting improvements at 25 Liberty ship Way in Sausalito, Marin County, CA, to be used by the VA for administrative and office purposes. The proposed action is needed to protect and preserve the existing Machine Shop from further disrepair and to support current space deficits at the SFVAMC Fort Miley campus, which is located approx. 8 miles to the south of the subject site at Lands' End in the city of SF.
