Document Description
This is an addendum to the previously adopted EIR (SCG: 2015122071) to replace the existing Tier 4 Final grinder with a Tier 4 Interim C32 Caterpillar grinder (serial number BDN03676). This grinder will be used at both the Recology Ostrom Organics compost facility and the adjacent Recology Ostrom Road Landfill for the purposes of grinding green waste material and wood waste material for compost reuse. There would be no change to any other project activities described in the EIR project description and it was determined by the FRAQMD that the proposed equipment replacement would not result in exceedance of any significance Air Quality thresholds reviewed under the EIR. All mitigation measures currently in place will remain in place.
