Document Description
Caltrans proposes to improve the existing Donner Pass CHP Truck Inspection Facility project on I-80 near the town of Truckee in Nevada County (NEV-80 PM 19.25). The Donner Pass CHP Truck Inspection Facility is deteriorating and is need of repairs. The project proposes to repair/replace the roof, install snow fences, and add heat strips to reduce damage caused by snow build-up, repair/replace exterior walls that are deteriorating from salt exposure, repaint the exterior and upgrade the water supply system to current health/fire protection.
