Document Description
The specific objective of this project is to replace a culvert which is a complete barrier for adult and juvenile salmonids, with a full-spanning bridge that will allow uninhibited salmonid access to 2.9 miles of high quality habitat upstream of the crossing. Upgrading the crossing to a bridge will improve upstream passage to 2.6 miles of spawning and rearing habitat in Kenny Creek. Improving passage at the crossing will increase the quantity of instream habitat for spawning and rearing coho salmon. The new bridge will pass the 100-year flow event with freeboard.
