Document Description
Request to increase the milk/dry cows at this facility by 928 head. The facility currently houses 588 milk cows, 60 dry cows, and 390 heifers. After the proposed increase the totals will be 920 milk cows, 180 dry cows, and 861 heifers. The proposed increase will require construction of an approximately 53,000 square foot freestall barn within an existing exercise pen area. As per the amended Waste Water Management Plan (WMP), the Lagoons are sufficiently sized to contain the increased waste water.
