CDFW has executed Lake and Streambed Alteration Agreement No. 1600-2017-0417-R3, pursuant to section 1602 of the Fish and Game Code to the project applicant, City of Cloverday. The current project is limited to installing a new footbridge across South Branch Porterfield Creek. The proposed bridge will be a single span and fiberglass with dimensions of 5 feet by 50 feet. Bridge pieces will be transported up existing trails via ATV, then walked to the crossing location and assembled on site. Bridge footings will be 6 feet wide by 1 foot thick by 2 feet deep. The footings will be placed approx. 18 feet from top of bank on the left bank and approx. 15 feet away from top of the right bank looking downstream. The footings will be made from concrete that will be poured in place. The bridge will allow for a wet creek crossing to be decommissioned. All work will be conducted outside of the stream channel.
