Document Description
Project involves a 5-year agreement between Santa Cruz Water Dept. (City) and Soquel Creek Water District (District) under which the City will transfer available winter supply from Majors and Liddell Springs to the District under a resource management pilot program. The Project also considers potential future extension of the agreement beyond the 5-year pilot period. No physical improvements to the City's or District's systems are required for this Project. The source water is from the City's pre-1914 appropriative water rights, and the amount of water transferred will be within the range of what has been delivered to and used in the City in the past. The quantity and availability of water supplied by the City shall be based on the draft agreement terms and conditions and at the sole discretion of the Director of the Water Dept. of the City.
