Document Description
This proposed Project involves the construction, operation and maintenance, and decommissioning of a 40 megawatt photovoltaic solar power-generating facility. The Project is composed of a 214-acre solar site, including access road improvements and construction of an overhead transmission line. Amendment No. 1 extends the deadline in which to complete the compensatory mitigation obligations. The Project will result in permanent and temporary impacts to 214 acres San Joaquin kit fox (Vulpes macrotis mutica), Swainson’s hawk (Buteo swainsoni), and California tiger salamander (Ambystoma californiense) habitat. As authorized in the ITP, Amendment No. 1 is not expected to result in an increase in incidental take of San Joaquin kit fox, Swainson’s hawk, or California tiger salamander, which are designated as threatened species under the California Endangered Species Act.
