Document Description
CDFW is intending to execute a Lake and Streambed Alteration Agreement pursuant to section 1602 of the Fish and Game Code (# 1600-2016-0163-R5) to the project applicant, City of Escondido. The project proposes drainage improvement activities, including sediment and vegetation removal, minor riprap improvements, installation of access shafts to access the culverted reach, reconstruction and recontouring of slopes, removal and replacement of pedestrian bridge, and planting of native vegetation. Compensatory mitigation for permanent loss of 0.09 acre wetland waters will be achieved through the re-establishment of 0.09 acre wetland/riparian habitat at Kit Carson Park.
