Document Description
Bakersfield Sports Arena - Maria Varela by Pasquini Engineering (PP13334) As proposed, the requests are to facilitate operation of an outdoor sports arena for entertainment purposes, specifically, outdoor concerts for up to 3,000 spectators and up to 100 employees for a maximum onsite occupancy of 3,100 people. An existing equestrian facility, permitted under CUP 45, Map 124 (approved June 9, 1994; Resolution 49-94) will continue to operate; however, the equestrian/sporting events will not occur simultaneously with outdoor concerts. The estimated maximum number of concerts to be held per month is four during the concert season which will start in February and end in October. as proposed, the equestrian/sporting events and concerts will be conducted within a secondary enclosed gated area adjacent to the parking area.
