Document Description
The project includes replacement of the existing and structurally deficient 1930/1931 timber trestle bridge with a new, engineered, American Association of State Hwy and Transportation Officials (AASHTO) approved, and prefabricated timber trestle "kit" bridge. The bridge will be30 feet wide and 60 feet long. Caltrans standard A77A1metal beam guardrail with typical wood posts, with wood block painted white, would be used at the bridge approach to match the historic wooden rail color. Approx. 640 CY of rock and 180 CY of protection filter to be placed within basin for slope protection.
