Document Description
The proposed improvements recommended in the Master Plan Update are grouped into five phases with each subsequent phase triggered by treatment demand. Demand is based on population growth projections; thus, no specific timeline is provided for implementation of the improvements. The Master Plan includes decommissioning three existing biological treatment ponds located on 23 acres in the southern portion of the VSD site. for the purpose of this analysis, potential environmental effects are based on full build out of the WRF. All improvements would occur within the area occupied by existing equipment which is generally the northern one-half of the 100-acre WRF site.
