Document Description
Project is to construct and operate Highgate Elementary School, a proposed kindergarten through 6th grade elementary school in southwest Bakersfield. The project would consist of approx. 52,500 sq. ft. of building space on an approx. 13 acre site and accommodate up to 800 students and 100 faculty and staff. The campus would include approx. 30 classrooms, administrative and multi-purpose rooms, outdoor field areas, approx. 70 paved parking spaces for staff and visitors, and drought tolerant landscaping throughout the campus. School facilities would include single story, permanent building structures and some portable units on permanent foundations with room for future expansion capabilities.
