The project applicant is proposing to develop the Plaza Mexico Residences, a high-density, mixed use development. Specifically, the development consists of 348 rental units and 26,417 sf of retail and restaurant uses within a six-story podium-style building. To implement the project, a number of specific plan amendments are being proposed. However, none of the specific plan amendments result in an increase in the number of allowable units or amount of allowable non-residential square footage within the overall specific plan area.
