Document Description
The Project will increase the recycled water recharge capacity by between 789 and 993 acre-feet per year into the Chino Groundwater Basin, specifically at three (3) cells located at Lower Day Basin (Basin). These improvements will be accomplished by modifying the San Bernardino County Flood Control District’s diversion channel, installing a control gate valve on Cell 3’s midlevel outlet, and improving the Basin embankments. Also, the Basin inlets and outlets will be modified to allow in more stormwater and storewater at higher elevation for longer duration.
