Document Description
The project proposes to replace existing generators at Metropolitan's San Dimas Hydro Electric Plant in Los Angeles County and the Red Mountain Hytdro Electric Plant in San Diego County. New standby generators will be installed at Metropolitan's Olinda Pressure Control Structure and Santiago Control Tower, both located in Orange County. All four generator installations will require the installation of sub-base fuel tanks, new canopies to house the gensets, and installation of minor electrical conduits for power hook ups.

The proposed project consists of the operation, repair, maintenance, permitting, leasing, licensing, or minor alteration of existing public or private structures, facilities, mechanical equipment, or topographic features, involveing negligible or no expansion of use beyond that existing at the time of the lead agency's determination. Replacement or reconstruction of existing structures and facilities where the new structure will be located on the same site as the structure replaced. The proposed project consists of construction and location of limited numbers of new, small facilites or strucutres; installation of small new equipment and facilities in small structures; and the conversion of existing of existing small structuress from one use to another where only minor modifications are made in the exterior of the structure.
