Document Description
The City-owned Palos Verdes Nature Preserve provides approximately 1,400 acres of protected open space for the protection of biological resources and passive recreation. The PVNP habitat restoration project will restore 5 acres of coastal sage scrub habitat at the Alta Vicente Reserve (a sub-area of the overall PVNP). The project will be funded by the Los Angeles County grant and administered by the Palos Verdes Peninsula Land Conservancy (PVPLC) who will remove invasive plants and install 10,000 native plants. The project will provide habitat for the coastal California gnatcatcher.
