Document Description
Raw water from the Whiskeytown REservoir is filtered and disinfeted at the Water Treatment Plant (WTP) and then conveyed through the Muletown conduit approximately eight (8) miles to the District. The WTP and Muletown Conduit also serve the Centerville CSD which has a 25% share of the facilities. The proposed Project will allow the District to access USBR properties to install new plumbing to reroute 100% of backwash waste water for recycling and use by the district and its customers. Currently, all backwash water from the filtration plant is allowed to flow into a side stream that flows into Clear Creek, a distance of approximately 500 feet.
