The UCLA campus proposes the acquisition and partial lease of a 305,000 square foot office tower and museum building located at 10889 Wilshire Boulevard, Los Angeles, CA 90024. The office building, formerly the headquarters of Occidental Petroleum, is attached to the UCLA Hammer Museum. Under the current City of Los Angeles zoning, the property is designated as C4-2-O and no changes to the current zoning would occur as a result of the acquisition and lease. No interior or exterior modifications are necessary for the acquisition or lease and the property will maintain the 634 subterranean parking spaces located on-site.
