Document Description
The Project consists of removing accumulated sediment and vegetation from the concrete-lined Salado Creek overchute over the California Aqueduct and 200 linear feet of the creek immediately upstream of the overchute. Sediment will be removed to the depth of the concrete base of the overchute. Channel maintenance activities will be conducted in late summer and early fall when the channel is dry. It is estimated that this maintenance will take 4-6 weeks and will recur every 3 years for the length of the permitted period.
