The California Department of Fish and Wildlife (CDFW) has executed Lake and Streambed Alteration Agreement number 1600-2020-0010-R3, pursuant to section 1602 of the Fish and Game Code to the project Applicant, California Department of Parks and Recreation, Bay Area District. The project includes decommissioning a segment of the Redwood Creek Trail that occurs within the 100-year floodplain of Redwood Creek and realigning the trail in a less sensitive location outside of the floodplain. This includes construction of 7 free-spanning trail bridges, removal of the deck and stringers of an existing bridge, removal of a 48-inch diameter, 14-foot long culvert, and rehabilitation of the decommissioned trail segment.
