Document Description
Approx 16.3 acres of timberland would be harvested under the Timber Harvesting Plan and 1.5 acres of other land would be cleared on the property. Under the Timberland Conversion Permit, approx 14.4 net acres of vineyard would be planted within the 17.8 acre project site. An erosion control plan has been prepared for the project site that minimizes on site erosion and decreases the amount of sediment that is transferred to downstream waters. Project components include: harvest 16.3 acres of timber; clear 1.5 acres of landscaping and orchard; install erosion control features (diversion ditches, rock stabilization, drop inlets, water spreaders), over the 17.8 acre cleared area; and plant 14.4 net acres of vineyard within the 17.8 acre cleared area.
