Document Description
Approval of WC2024174, under California Code of Regulations, Title 23, Article 3, Section 6, for work within an adopted plan of flood control: To conduct cleanup activities including removal of concrete, asphalt, and metal debris along approximately 5,000 linear feet of riverbank within the Tuolumne River and San Joaquin River. The activities will take place in the floodway area, ranging 200 feet to 1,100 feet waterward, away from the State Plan of Flood Control levee and will remove approximately 9,900 cubic yards of debris and rubble. The debris will be removed down to native soil to return the riverbank to original conditions, and the debris will be stockpiled on private property. Erosion control measures will be applied to stabilize the surface of the bank where soil disturbance has occurred, restoring the site to surrounding native conditions.
