- Project is limited to improvements to existing outfall infrastructure and replacement of the diffuser pipe in the Sacramento River. A replacement 17-foot long river diffuser will be installed at the same location on the river bank as the existing five-foot long diffuser, but rotated down to be completely submerged during low-flow periods.
