Document Description
DWR proposes to fund River Partners' installation of three 48 in gated pipes with manually operated slide gates through an existing levee on the San Joaquin River National Wildlife Refuge. The proposed project will provide improved river-floodplain connectivity for over 2,500 acres of restored floodplain habitat along the west side of the San Joaquin River between its confluence with the Tuolumne River and Hwy 132. This action will promote inflow and drainage that preserves and supports wildlife habitat values at the Refuge.
