- Document Description
- The purpose of the project is to provide a road crossing that meets modern highway design standards and accommodates interregional transportation needs. The Klamath River Bridge (Bridge No. 02-0015) was constructed in 1931 and has exceeded its expected service life. The bridge exhibits signs of significant structural fatigue, does not meet modern seismic standards, does not have standard shoulder width, and has an inadequate turning radii where it intersects SR 96.
