Construct and operate tertiary treatment facilities at existing wastewater treatment plant and produce recycled water. Addendum to the MND addresses proposed 100-ft long recycled water extension line to provide recycled water to the Caltrans for irrigation along HWY 101 corridor. The new pipeline would be approximately four inches in diameter. The excavation for the extension pipeline would be a trench that is approximately 100 ft long, 4 ft deep, and 2 ft wide. The area of disturbance associated with the construction of this trench is expected to be approximately 15 ft wide and 100 ft long, totaling 1,500 sf (0.03 acre) of new disturbance, resulting in a total of disturbance area of 1.73 acres.
