Carmel Area Wastewater District Sphere of Influence and Annexation

The amendment to the CAWD Sphere of Influence I(SOI) and Service Area (SA) annexations, including: Annexation of areas within District's existing SOI and annexation of areas, within the proposed SOI, in locations where the District anticipates near-term sewer service connection requests, and annexation of lands already served under LAFCO-approved "out-of-District" service agreements and de-annexation of lands not needing service. This area totals approx. 10.5 sq. miles, including five sq. miles of the existing service area, .25 sq. miles of the existing SOI, .15 sq. miles of the existing SOI to be removed, .3 sq. miles of future study area, and 4.5 sq. miles of proposed additional SOI and Annexation in portions of the City of Carmel by the Sea, and unincorporated Monterey County/Carmel Valley. New (net) SOI/Annexed area is 3,000 acres.
