Document Description
The proposed Project would provide the City with a coordinated and comprehensive strategy for promoting the production of safe, decent, and affordable housing within the community. The City has set forth policies and programs to: maintain and improve the quality of existing housing and residential neighborhoods in McFarland, facilitate the provision of a range of different housing types to meet the needs of the community, provide adequate housing sites through appropriate land use and zoning designations to accommodate the City's share of regional housing needs, mitigate or remove any potential governmental constraints to housing production and affordability, and promote equal opportunity for residents to reside in the housing of their choice.
