Document Description
This project is the acquisition of a perpetual lease for a 12 foot wide easement on Union Pacific railroad right-of-way through the City of Whittier for the eventual 2.8-mile extension of the existing 5-mile Whittier Greenway Trail (bicycle/pedestrian path) to the eastern City limits. The disturbed project site has no value as habitat for endangered rare, or threatened species. There are no designated scenic highways adjacent to the project site. The project site is not listed on Geotracker as having an active clean-up site assessments pursuant to lists identified under Section 65962.5 of the Government Code. The project site does not impact historical resources.
