Project activities include a germination experiment and potential outplanting to restore the pallid manzanita; and monitoring and managing the Project Site long term to ensure the pallid manzanita population persits. The germination experiment will consist of scraping treatment plots with a small bulldozer or by hand with steel rakes to clear debris and expose bare soil (after competing native and non-manzanita plants.
