Document Description
The purpose of this proposed project is to construct a concrete basin system for the temporary storage and de-watering of hydro-excavation spoils generated from line crew utility location and pot-holing activities.
The proposed hydro-excavation storage and de-watering system design consists of a series of pre-cast concrete basins which would temporarily hold the hydro-excavation spoils and allow for evaporaation of the water and sedimentation of the solids. The basins would be made up of pre-cast concrete culvert sections that would be sealed together. The dimensions of the completed basins system would be approximately 32 feet wide by 43 feet long by 8 feet deep.
